Hamburger Foundation

HF 1

We’re three childhood friends who used to meet up in the only burger joint in town and dream of one day creating our own place. We all went our separate ways after school and time went by. Over the years, we learned about restaurants, marketing and acting, lived in the States, Paris and China and worked at many different jobs. All along we remained friends and kept talking about our old dream. Then one day we stopped talking and started planning. We’re not scientists or the next Steve Jobs so we picked the only idea we ever had: burgers, the ground zero of food. We set our goal to make the best possible burger and surround it with all the love and care of great hospitality. In the Summer of 2012, we reunited in Geneva, our hometown and started looking for a space and for the best food suppliers. We found the suppliers first and then built a food-truck to start cooking our burgers on the street. Today, we still have the truck, but we also have a restaurant and a team of about forty young amazing people helping us keep the dream Alive.

Amazing cool and trendy, this place serves the best affordable hamburgers in town ; try them !

Last Night 14th september, after they had made it into the finals, Roger Federer and the Swiss Davis Cup Team tasted the juicy burgers at the Foundation!!!

13 Gay Monuments

13 Hot Gay Monuments

From Holocaust victims to heroes of equality, these moving monuments commemorate the darkest days of LGBT history and the legacy they left behind

Their lives were triumphant, their deaths were tragic and all too often left no trace, but some countries have chosen to honor the gay, lesbian and transgender heroes history tried to forget.
Gay Star News remembers the LGBT individuals who suffered, struggled and died for the rights and freedoms we enjoy today.
All over the world, monuments honoring the LGBT community have been erected in parks and public spaces where people of all ages can visit and learn about some people who were persecuted because of who they loved.

Aspen Gay Ski Week is a week-long LGBTQ winter event held in January each year. Aspen is located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains just hours from Denver by car and 30 minutes by plane into Aspen Airport. We have plenty to do for everyone..even if you don’t ski or board. We have daily skiing/boarding on one of the four mountains in the area with guides for all abilities. We also have daily apres ski parties, dinners, comedy, film, boutique & art walk, nightly parties, snow shoeing, sleigh rides, yogo & spa days…and much much more.

If you’ve been coming for years or it’s your first time, there is something new going daily. We have been working hard to grow our event into the largest group that visits Aspen Snowmass in the winter. We are dedicated to bringing you a world class event set in a beautiful mountain get-away. Aspen has over 300 days of sunshine each year…but don’t worry, we have our fair share of powder days and it always seems to dump during Gay Ski Week.

Aspen Gay Ski Week is a fundraising event for The Roaring Fork Gay and Lesbian Community Fund (RFGLCF). Money raised from Gay Ski Week goes to support various charities and beneficiaries both on the local and national platforms.
